EverestLabs, headquartered at 48820 Kato Road in Fremont, California, sells two layers of physical AI for plants that move materials on belts. Robotics cells occupy about a 3×3 ft footprint over existing conveyors and are monitored from a 24/7 remote operations centre. Navigator is an agentic operations platform that watches utilisation, residue, maintenance and composition, then recommends or executes actions.
The company was founded in 2018 (formerly NYPIT, Inc.) by Jagadeesh Ambati (CEO) and Pratik Khadloya. Target industries on the site include MRFs, plastics reclaimers, scrap metal, C&D, e-waste, brand packaging intelligence and collection fleets. A Universal Waste Systems MRF in Santa Fe Springs, California is a public robotics case.
EverestLabs treats undigitised recovery plants as stranded assets: the belts already exist, but operators cannot see every object or staff every pick station. Compact robots capture last-chance commodities (PET, HDPE, UBC, PP5, metals, fibre) that would otherwise go to landfill. Navigator’s impact is uptime and yield on the rest of the plant—fixing screens, loads and faults before residue spikes.
Remote operation is the labour model: the customer is not asked to hire robot technicians. Payback is sold as an SLA, not a slide-deck estimate.
