Turnout, an AI-native platform designed to cut through government bureaucracy, has secured $21 million in seed funding to expand its reach and simplify access to essential benefits.

The round was co-led by Shine Capital and LGVP, with participation from Swish Ventures, Jaz Capital Partners, Zeev Ventures, HoneyStone, Conversion, Four Aces, and other investors.

In less than a year since its launch, Turnout has already returned and applied over $40 million to Americans by streamlining government processes like Social Security Disability claims and tax debt relief.

With new funding, the company plans to expand its services and bring its mission of “helping people beat the system” to millions nationwide.

Why Turnout Exists

Americans spend a staggering 12.1 billion hours each year filling out federal forms. These processes are often outdated, difficult to navigate, and riddled with errors that can delay or deny access to critical benefits.

Turnout offers an alternative.

By pairing its AI case orchestrator, Jake, with licensed professionals, the platform takes on the most complex tasks so individuals can avoid the stress of bureaucracy.

The platform currently offers:

How Turnout Works

The process is designed to be simple and human-centered:

  1. Tell us about your situation – users answer a few basic questions.
  2. Review and match – Turnout’s AI and experts identify solutions tailored to each case.
  3. Connect with a dedicated advisor – real people step in to support the process to completion.

Turnout promises security, transparency, and partnership at every step.

Its AI orchestrator already automates nearly 60% of tasks, including eligibility checks, transcript pulls, form preparation, and deadline tracking.

Licensed professionals handle the critical stages, ensuring accuracy and advocacy.

A Mission to Empower

Founder and CEO Itai Hirsch says the company’s goal is to be “AI for everyone.” In his words, “Complex processes are buried under layers of bureaucracy and aging technology, leaving too many Americans feeling ignored, overwhelmed, and stuck.

Turnout is being built by experts to cut through that complexity, putting time and money back in consumers’ hands.”

Backers like Shine Capital believe in this vision. “Turnout is using AI to transform the lives of everyday Americans, helping them navigate their finances, secure the benefits they are entitled to, and establish themselves on a firm footing,” said Mo Koyfman, Founder and General Partner.

Why This Matters

Simplifying bureaucracy is more than a convenience, it has real-world impact:

By bridging technology and advocacy, Turnout is building a new model for consumer rights in the digital age.
