Givebutter, the all-in-one fundraising and donor management platform, has unveiled a new suite of financial management tools designed to help nonprofits raise more, manage less, and maximize impact.
Announced at The Spread, the company’s annual gathering of nonprofit leaders, the updates strengthen Givebutter’s position as the only free fundraising and CRM solution that unites donor management, fundraising, and finances in one place.
Why This Matters
Nonprofits across the country are navigating tighter budgets, rising costs, and increased demand for services. To thrive in this climate, organizations need tools that not only help them raise money but also ensure every dollar goes further.
By adding built-in financial management features, Givebutter aims to help mission-driven organizations reduce overhead, simplify operations, and keep more funds directly supporting their causes.

New Features for Nonprofits
The updates focus on creating a seamless experience for both nonprofit teams and their supporters. Highlights include:
- Givebutter Wallet – A built-in account that centralizes payouts, visibility, and controls while offering 2.5% cash back rewards on stored funds. Eligible accounts also benefit from FDIC pass-through insurance.
- Givebutter Guarantee – A commitment that “free” really means free. With optional donor tips enabled, nonprofits pay zero processing or platform fees. If tips do not cover costs, Givebutter absorbs the difference.
- QuickBooks Online Integration – Simplifies bookkeeping by automatically syncing transactions, eliminating manual spreadsheets, and reducing errors.
- Meta Fundraising Integration – Empowers social fundraising by embedding donation buttons and real-time progress bars directly into Facebook and Instagram shares.
- Magic Migration – Removes one of the biggest barriers to switching CRMs by securely transferring donor records, history, and campaigns into Givebutter in a fraction of the usual time.
These updates build on more than 200 customer-requested improvements launched this year, including Cash App Pay support, upgraded auction tools, and enhanced CRM capabilities.
A Platform Built for Generosity
Max Friedman, CEO of Givebutter, emphasized the company’s mission to put nonprofits first:
“Generosity isn’t a zero-sum game. The tools that power it should amplify the mission, not take from it. That’s why Givebutter multiplies giving—lowering costs, cutting fees, and even putting money back in nonprofits’ hands with cash back rewards on stored funds. More giving, less taking. That’s the way it should be.”
Positive Global Impact
For nonprofits, these innovations mean more than operational efficiency. They directly translate into expanded services, stronger donor trust, and increased resilience.
Whether it is a local food pantry, a national health initiative, or a grassroots climate campaign, the ability to manage fundraising and finances in one place allows organizations to devote more energy to solving real-world challenges.
By reducing administrative hurdles and returning value to mission-driven organizations, Givebutter is helping create a stronger ecosystem of changemakers—one where generosity is amplified, and every dollar raised works harder for communities around the world.
