Learning Equality is a San Diego nonprofit that develops Kolibri, a free, open-source learning platform built for communities without dependable internet access. The organization grew from Jamie Alexandre’s 2012 Raspberry Pi prototype for an offline Khan Academy experience and was incorporated in April 2013 by Alexandre, Richard Tibbles, and Liz Vu.
